Instructor: Kathy Conway Office Address: Scully 313C Office Hours: 10:00 - 11:00 M, W, F and by appointment Course Description: Block III includes methods of teaching in Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. There is also a field component. This class meets: 8:00 - 9:50 M, W, F for Math, Science, and Social Studies. This class meets on campus on Thursday from 8:00-9:50 during the first 4 weeks of the semester to prepare for the field. You will then be in the field on Tuesday and Thursday for half days the rest of the semester. (Note: Whether your half day is morning or afternoon depends on the teacher's schedule.) Fall semesters - the first day of class is Monday and the field preparation begins on Thursday. Spring semesters - the first day of class is Wednesday. There is no class on Monday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, the field preparation begins on Thursday. |
