Received a Funding For Results Demonstration Grant through Southeast Missouri State University. This two year, $8,250.00 project will develop a systematic approach to collecting and examining information about our pre-service teacher dispositions. 2005-Present Received grant through Missouri’s Successlink for a handheld computer proof of concept project. This three year, $40,000.00 project will provide handheld computers to approximately 100 elementary, middle, and high school students and their teachers. 2002 Authored, received and managed the budget for grant funding for staff development and installation of educational technology for a multimedia interactive networked teaching strategies (eMINTS) elementary school. This two year, $300,000.00 project provided equipment and technology staff development for a new elementary school. 2000 Authored, received, and managed the budget for a grant funded through Missouri’s Technology Literacy Challenge Fund. This two year, $90,000.00 project provided for staff and curriculum development. 1997-98 Authored, received, and managed the budget for a grant(s) funded by Southwestern Bell Telephone to expand Telecommunication capabilities within the Farmington School District. These $10,000.00 projects provided for equipment and teacher training. 1997 & 1998 Co-authored, received, and managed the budget for a grand funded by the State of Missouri’s Office of Administration to develop a Community Information Network in the community of Farmington. This $80,000.00 project provided for equipment (modem racks, servers) and training for community members. 1997 Authored, received, and managed the budget for a grant funded by SouthWestern Bell Telephone to expand Interactive Television capabilities within the Farmington School District. This $35,000.00 project provided for equipment, digital line charges, and teacher training. 1997 Authored and received a grant funded by Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to develop a nine school Interactive Television consortium in the Mineral Area. This $492,000.00 project provided funding for equipment and teacher training. 1996 Co-authored, received, and managed the budget for a competitive Instructional Technology grant funded by Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This $40,000.00 project provided funding for Implementation of a building wide computer network and teacher training. 1996 Authored, received, implemented, and managed the budget for a grant funded by Missouri’s Endeavor grant program. This $50,000.00 project provided for the development of a model interactive television project. 1995 Authored, received, and managed the budget of a $5,000.00 Missouri Incentive Grant. This grant provided funding for the development of an innovative Engineering Physics Course which brought together successful physics students and unsuccessful physical science students in a cooperative learning environment. 1993 Co-authored and received a Missouri Industrial Technology Grant for the 1993-94 school year. Funding provided for development and implementation of MOREtech, a statewide telecommunications project for technology instructors and students. Received continuation funding for MOREtech. 1994-95 Co-authored, received, and managed the budget of a Multidisciplinary Approaches to Math/Science & Technology Grant from the Federal Department of Education for the 1991-92 school year. Funding provided for implementation and expansion of the multidisciplinary programs at Farmington High School. Co-authored, received, and managed the budget of a Missouri Industrial Technology Grant for the 1990-91 and 1991-92 school years. Funding provided for implementation and expansion of the technology programs at Farmington Middle School and Farmington High School. Authored and was granted Missouri Video Instruction Development and Educational Opportunity Program (VIDEO) Grants. These grants ($8,000.00 per year) provided for the introduction and development of an interactive video program and distance learning programs, which included equipment and in-service activities during the 1989-2001 school years. Authored, was granted, and managed the budget for Missouri Technology Acquisition and Enhancement grants. These grants ($14,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year) provided for the purchase of instructional technology and in-service during the 1994-2002 school years. Co-authored a Missouri Incentive Grant for Lesterville School District. This grant provided funding for a distance learning program, video distribution network, and locally produced video programs in 1987-88. |
